Description MedPoint™, a Medication Administration Control System, provides the healthcare professional with positive assurance that they are administering the correct medication to each patient. When used with a bar coded patient bracelet and a hand-held scanner, MedPoint extends the benefits of the hospital's pharmacy system to the bedside with positive verification and complete documentation of every medication administration. This information is then transmitted to the pharmacy system and is readily available as an audit trail for reporting and tracking all medication usage.
