  • Description The laser beam is delivered through an ultra thin flexible 400 - 1000 m fiber, which gives the operator full freedom of movement when performing surgery. The MedArt® 426 can be coupled with a wide range of handpieces. Handpieces are supplied with standard focus lengths of 11 mm and 16 mm. Straight and angled fiber guides with different lengths offer high versatility, enabling the diode laser to be used for multiple applications. The bare fiber can be used both in contact and non-contact mode. Used in non-contact mode the laser will effectively coagulate blood vessels and tumours. Used in contact mode, the laser fiber can be used as an effective surgical knife. All functions are easily accessible from the front panel and 12 standard settings can be stored in the units memory bank for easy retrival. With dimensions of 52 x 30 x 15 cm and a weight of only 12 kg, the MedArt 426 fits into any clinic.
