|Features||Heated Lid, Gradient function, RS-232 and printer interface, Autorestart option in the event of a power failure, personal card system for unlimited memory expansion and for simple protocol transfer between different Mastercycler workstations|
The Eppendorf Mastercycler Family offers fast temperature control, exact block homogeneity, and augmented programming for optimal flexibility. Personal cards enable safe program storage as well as easy and reliable transfer of individual protocols between different Mastercyclers. All models are licensed and authorized for PCR and come with a two-year warranty.
The Eppendorf Mastercycler with its 96-position universal block is the economical option for standard PCR** runs.
The Mastercycler gradient has set the standard for optimized reaction conditions in molecular biology labs. It features a single block that accepts both 96-well plates as well as 0.2 and 0.5 ml PCR tubes. A programmable gradient function enables a temperature gradient of 1 C to 20 C to be generated across the block during all steps of a PCR reaction.
Steady Slope Technology ensures constant heating and cooling rates, and it allows the results of gradient experiments to be transferred seamlessly to routine applications. Triple Circuit Technology provides an additional heating and cooling zone for precise temperature control of all gradient profiles.
Gradient block: select gradient from 1 C to 20 C across the entire temperature control range
The universal block provides the utmost flexibility for different tube types96 x 0.2 ml tubes, 77 x 0.5 ml tubes, or one 96-well microplatecan be used without having to change the block.
**Practice of the patented polymerase chain reaction (PCR) process requires a license. The Eppendorf Thermal Cycler is an Authorized Thermal Cycler and may be used with PCR licenses available from Applied Biosystems. Its use with Authorized Reagents also provides a limited PCR license in accordance with the label rights accompanying such reagents.
