  • Single use loading unit.
  • Titanium staples.
  • Tissue Gap Control Mechanism ensures proper staple formation by preventing jaws from spreading at the distal end. During firing, the tissue gap control mechanism travels down the instrument forks and holds the anvil parallel to the cartridge.
  • New knife blade with each firing ensures reliable and precise cutting performance while reducing the possibility of site contamination.
  • Covered knife blade makes it safe for the surgeon and the nurse and prevents accidental injury to tissue and to the O.R. personnel.
  • Scissor-like parallel closure allows for controlled positioning of the stapler on tissue.
  • Safety interlock minimizes the possibility of firing an empty stapler.

    The Auto Suture™ MULTIFIRE GIA™ 60 and 80 single use surgical staplers with MULTIFIRE GIA™ 60 and 80 single use loading units and the Auto Suture™ MULTIFIRE SGIA™ 60 knifeless single use surgical stapler with MULTIFIRE SGIA™ 60 knifeless single use loading units, have application in abdominal, gynecologic, pediatric and thoracic surgery for resection, transection and creation of anastomoses.
