Description Aerotels Medical Parameters Monitoring (MPM) devices allow physicians to successfully manage follow-up care of the chronically ill. With Aerotels MPM equipment, patients can sit in the comfort of their own homes while physicians conduct routine and comprehensive medical monitoring procedures in their offices. With the MPM system, data is automatically recorded and transferred through regular telephone lines to a monitoring service center. Using Aerotels supporting MPM software, operators at the monitoring service center enter the data in computerized patient files. As a result, physicians are able to effectively monitor patient adherence to medication regimens, as well as track blood pressure readings, weight and other medical parameters (such as blood glucose levels, oxygen saturation and pulmonary function tests).

With the MPM system, data is not only stored for immediate consultation and treatment, but also for future physician reference. Patient data can be presented in graph form, and a report can be generated if needed. Finally, individual alarm values can be set for each patient.

Aerotel is now offering the MPM-Net: e-Health Management System, a web- based secured application, accessible by physicians and patients, for the improvement of healthcare and disease management. The use of Aerotel's Telemedicine / Homecare and Web-based systems streamlines clinical trials and disease management programs for HMOs, Manage Care organizations, Health Care organizations/providers, Medical Centers, pharmaceutical companies etcAerotels state-of-the-art MPM transtelephonic product line includes:
