Features Transmitted Light & Fluorescence: Both stereo and high magnification, on one instrument. Integrated with Zeiss SV11 stereo microscopes. Foot pedal-controlled shutter: Offers hands-free transmitted light operation. Unique nosepiece design: One stereo lens and two ultra long working distance high magnification lenses. Holds up to four interchangeable filter cubes: Utilizing complete list of highest quality Chroma filters for every application. Stereo images: In brightfield and fluorescence (9X - 120X). High-magnification images: In brightfield and fluorescence (30X - 660X). Erect and upright images: Ideal for sorting and manipulation. Optional features include: Motorized course and fine focus, CO2 delivery system to immobilize worms, mechanical stage & photo tube for digital imaging.
Description Designed in collaboration with Kramer Scientific, M2 Bio Quad uniquely combines stereo macro and compound micro imaging capabilities in one microscope. This ability to combine the ergonomics of stereo observation and high-resolution microscopic observation in a single microscope offers enormous improvements in time management in the exploding field of studying fluorescent proteins of GFP, YFP, BFP and its new counterparts.
