  • Description The new Level 1 H-1200 Fast Flow Fluid Warmer, a new generation rapid infusion product, builds on the benefits of the existing Level 1 Fast Flow Fluid Warmer legacy. The new Level 1 H-1200 Fast Flow Fluid Warmer incorporates the features of integrated air detection and automatic clamping capability, while continuing to deliver warm fluids as fast as 1,000 ml/minute or as slow as 75 ml/hour. Built-in Pressure chambers accommodate various sizes of blood and solution bags to which pressure can be applied and maintained at a constant 300mm/Hg pressure.

The potential of air embolism and the seriousness of its consequences are well known. Currently, health care professionals rely primarily on technique and vigilance to protect their patients, which has lead to the safe use of the Level 1 Fast Flow Fluid Warmers. However, now you can make rapid infusion even safer by enhancing traditional visual monitoring for the detection of air.

How does the Air Detector/Clamp work?
An ultrasonic signal continually passes through the fluid filled gas vent/filter assembly. As a bolus of air displaces the fluid in the gas vent/filter assembly, the ultrasonic signal is broken and the clamp closes, stopping the air before it enters the patient line. Simultaneously, audible and visual alarms are activated, notifying the user that the fluid flow has stopped. Clearing the bolus of air and restoring the fluid flow are quickly accomplished without disconnecting from the patient.
