Lehner Inserter

ProductsLehner Inserter
Company Rhein Medical, Inc.
Item Lehner Inserter
Features
Description This direct-acting inserter grasps the thinnest portion of an optic around its outer rim, resulting in a minimum incision requirement. The highly-polished crescent-shaped jaws reduce additional bulk around the thicker center of the optic and prevent potential damage to the central optic, resulting in delivery of an implant through a minimal incision. The blades open in a gull-wing fashion, providing a gentle and controlled release of the implant into the bag. The jaws are angled at 45 degrees, making access to the incision site easy around-theclock. This locking Inserter also has a round knurled handle containing flat ridges along its spine for improved tactile feedback regarding the orientation of the jaws without visual confirmation. Made of stainless steel, the inserter is used with the Lehner Loader for reproducible loading of the lens. This inserter is compatible with all lens folding techniques, and is offered with an instructional video tape.
