Features 
Description The Isoseeds I-125 are brachytherapy sources which are implanted in tissue for the treatment of localized tumors, especially in the prostate. The seeds remain in the body after the conclusion of the therapeutic effect, i.e. after radioactive decay is completed. Isoseeds I-125 are intended for single use. They are supplied in a sterile form. Isoseeds I-125 are sealed radioactive sources. Each Isoseed I-125 contains a cylindrical-shaped ceramic saturated with a radioactive iodine-125 compound, which is enclosed by a laser-sealed titanium tube. Gold wire inside the ceramic is used as an X-ray marker.
