Description The D.O.R.C. Intraocular Electromagnet offers a truly unique surgical approach for the removal of ferrous intraocular foreign bodies (IOFB). Other magnets are available for ophthalmic surgery, but only D.O.R.C. offers an intraocular electromagnet for use through a pars plana, limbal or open sky surgical technique. The D.O.R.C. Intraocular Electromagnet offers the most effective management of a ferrous IOFB. The most significant feature is absolute control of the magnetic field which can be initiated or terminated at the discretion of the surgeon via footswitch control. The D.O.R.C. Intraocular Electromagnet is the most advanced surgical instrument for the management of ferrous intraocular foreign bodies.
