Features 
Description The Medtronic InSync III Model 8042 increases therapy versatility with faster programming, and the ability to optimize sensing, pacing and cardiac output. The InSync III system also offers unmatched insight through key heart failure diagnostics and monitoring trends, to efficiently track a patient's clinical status.

Indications

Medtronic offers cardiac resynchronization systems which are indicated for the reduction of the symptoms of moderate to severe heart failure (NYHA Functional Class III or IV) in those patients who remain symptomatic despite stable, optimal medical therapy and have a left ventricular ejection fraction of < 35% and a QRS duration > 130 msec.

InSync III is also indicated to provide the following: Rate adaptive pacing for patients developing a bradycardia indication who may benefit from increased pacing rates concurrent with increases in activity; and dual chamber and atrial tracking modes for patients who may benefit from maintenance of AV synchrony.

These systems include the InSync III or InSync device and one of the Attain Lead Models 2187, 2188, and 4193 and two right heart leads.
