Impact2 Equalizer 384 12-Channel Electronic Pipettor, 2.0% or 0.30L

The Equalizer 384 includes all the revolutionary features of the original Equalizerexpandable and equal tip spacing, choice of two software packages, autoclavable components, and in-lab calibration capabilities. In addition, this model allows you to evenly space your tips down to 4.5mm for loading and accessing many gels and for use with 384 well plates. It also gives you the option of 8 or 12 channels with three volume ranges: 0.5-12.5L, 1-30L or 2-125L. The slide rod on the 384 works in exactly the same way as the original Equalizer. It can be pulled or pushed to set the tips to your desired spacinganywhere from 4.5mm to 14.15mm (8-channel) or 4.5mm to 9mm (12-channel).

Equally Spaced, Expandable, Multichannel Pipettor

The Equalizer replaces fixed multichannel pipettors and instantly boosts productivity with an industry breakthroughequal tip spacings that expand with the simple adjustment of a slide rod. This innovation allows the quick and easy transfer of liquids between vessels with different configurations.

Adjustable and Equal Tip-To-Tip Spacing
The Equalizers tips can be spaced anywhere from 9mm (microplates) to 14.15mm (12 or 13mm tubes and 48 well plates) in increments of 0.1mm. The distance between tips is always equalsimply set the desired spacing on the scale and pull or push the rod.

No Handling, No Contamination
The unique push/pull rod allows you to spread the tips to your desired spacing without touching the tip fittings. This lessens the possibility of contaminating the tip fittings or samples.

Two Levels of Software
The Equalizer is available with Impact or Impact2 software (see Impact/Impact2) so it can operate at up to five speed settings and is capable of storing up to six 40-step programs.

Simple Calibration
In-lab calibration can be performed quickly and easily. The software provides a trail of calibration information for your lab records.

Long-Lasting, Rechargeable Batteries
Every Equalizer comes with a power supply adapter and a set of NiCad batteries strong enough to deliver a full day of pipetting. The batteries are easy to access so replacement can be done in seconds without any special tools.
