    • Description The ISYSTEM-ABD ("I-cubed") is an exceptionally high resolution, versatile A/B-scan unit featuring an analog oscilloscope (static deflection) display. This provides substantially more speed and resolution than low cost video monitors. Vitreous structures such as posterior hyaloid, syneresis, inflammatory cells, as well as tumor vascularity and macular edema are routinely detected. On-screen cross-hair calipers quickly measure distances. For special cases such as silicone oil, the ultrasound velocity may be changed for accurate measurements. Images may be documented by: (1) video printer (2) an existing computer/printer system by transferring images from the ISYSTEM's standard IBM-formatted floppy and Zip disks.
