  • Description The new HF35-50 High Frequency Ultrasound system is the most advanced and versatile high resolution, high frequency system available. The HF35-50 allows users to perform high frequency ultrasound biomicroscopy of the anterior segment with 35MHz or 50MHz probes or high resolution posterior segment ultrasound with a 20 MHz sealed B-probe.

The Macintosh computer provides for image display and storage and hosts the software through which the operator controls the system. The lightweight, interchangable, immersion style probes provide for superb imaging of the cornea, iris, sclera, and ciliary body. Together the sophisticated features provide excellent image quality and a superior diagnotic tool for a very affordable price.

The wide scanning field offers imaging and diameter measurements of sulcus-to-sulcus or angle-to-angle, as well as measurements of corneal thickness, scleral thickness, lens thickness and anterior chamber depth and angle in degrees. The system offers the largest scanning field: 15 mm in width and 15 mm in depth allowing for the capture of the entire anterior segment in one scan. The scanning rate of 12 frames/second is the fastest in the market.
