  • Enhanced Variable Pupil Feature - Precise, syncronized selection of observation and illumination optics for any pupil size. This patented system has been optimized and will now provide stereo views in pupils ranging from 10mm down to 1mm.
  • Articulating Rear Hinge on Headband - Provides vertical adjustment for a secure and perfect fit for all users.
  • New Ergonomic Headband Design - 40% more cushion area and optimal weight transfer with no pressure points.
  • Full Featured - 3 Spot sizes: Large, Medium, and Small. Integrated Diffused light filter. 3 Integrated Filters: Red-free, Cobalt Blue, and Yellow.
  • Redesigned Flip-Up Feature on Headband - Raise optics out of the line of site. Locks at 0, 12.5, 47.5, and 60 degrees.
  • Increased PD Range - 46-74mm
  • Locking Aperture and Filter Adjustments - Locks your apertures and filters into place. "Safety Clutch" feature protects mechanisms by releasing lock if levers are forced.
Description Built on the market leading optical performance of the OMEGA 180, the OMEGA 500 has been optimized for even better views of the fundus. A new multi-coated illumination system, including a new XHL Xenon Halogen Technology bulb produce less reflexes off the cornea and clear, high resolution images of the fundus that are up to 100% brighter.
