  • Description Gunslinger™ Shoulder Orthosis Until now, laborious custom fabrication was required to produce this kind of splint. Adjustability was limited and modifications in response to patient complaints were, at best, difficult and cumbersome. The GunSlinger evolved from two years of development and trials at a major Boston teaching hospital. This orthosis can be quickly adjusted to any combination of abduction, flexion and rotation, each of which is independently adjustable. Unique contralateral suspension is comfortable and secure. It resists displacement while allowing a broad range of independent patient activities. Wide-sculpted shoulder strap is comfortable for long-term wear. The forearm and hand rest in a carefully contoured splint. Padded straps ensure comfort and compliance. 10" connecting post of PVC plastic. Cut to desired length.
