Description	Tecan introduces the new Nanopipetting System Genesis NPS based on the well-known Genesis platform. This latest technology allows you to miniaturize your assays for high throughput screening (HTS) applications like hit picking and direct dilutions. Furthermore it is an enabling tool for array pipetting applications including gene expression analysis, gene mapping, SNP detection and liquid handling for BioChip. The Genesis NPS represents a flexible liquid handling system. Equipped with 1 to 8 nanopipetting devices named ActiveTip M, any combination with standard and low-volume tips is possible on one platform, covering a volume range from nanoliters to milliliters. The ActiveTip M uses piezo technology and is equipped with liquid level detection and individual z-positioning for high accuracy of pipetting. The variable spacing arm allows the handling of any plate, tube or array format. Genesis NPS with its high precision and reliability meets customers' expectations in Tecan's outstanding pipetting performance.
