Features The Genesis II inserts include cruciate retaining, deep dished, posterior stabilized, and constrained options. Genesis II articular inserts provide high contact area and low contact stresses compared to other major systems. A nondegrading form of sterilization virtually eliminates oxidative degradation, thus retaining the initial superior performance properties of polyethylene. By improving contact area and manufacturing with high quality polyethylene, polyethylene wear can be minimized.
