ProductsFine Universal II Inserter
Company Rhein Medical, Inc.
Item Fine Universal II Inserter
Features
Description This inserter allows insertion of AMO SI-30 and SI-40 foldable lenses through incisions as small as 2.8 millimeters, and is perfect for clear corneal and corneal scleral tunnels. The inserter is direct-acting, and has highly polished 6.5 millimeter rounded blades for a secure grasp of a folded optic. The tips of the blades have a .15 millimeter notch which may be used to grasp and tuck a superior haptic into the superior bag when delivered in the 6&12 o'clock orientation. Made of titanium, the knurled handles of the forceps have a flat ridge down the center spine, providing immediate tactile feedback for the surgeon regarding the orientation of the jaws without visual confirmation. The unique blade design offers a very slow and controlled release over the delivery of an implant into the bag. This inserter is compatible with all lens folding techniques, and is calibrated to the Fine Loader, Fine Loading block, Seibel Loader, and the Rhein III Loader. Angled w/lock.
