Features Exchangeable filter to aerate the drip chamber. Check valve to prevent fluid reflux. Pump chamber for extracting cerebrospinal fluid. Cerebrospinal fluid is collected and measured in the drip chamber. Easy fixation with Velcro straps. Safe and fast closure of the bag during collection. Optional connection of a pressure transducer. Fast emptying of the drainage bag. Sterile filter for aeration of drainage bag. Safe and fast closure of the drainage tap while the patient is being transported or moved. Luer lock connector for connection to probe 3 or 3 XL or ventricular catheter. Integrated access port to remove fluid under sterile conditions.
Description The external ventricular drainage set (EVD set) drains and collects cerebrospinal fluid for external ventricular drainage. It can be used in combination with a ventricular catheter or with the 3 or 3XL probe from the Aesculap Spiegelberg ICP, CPP and Compliance Monitoring System.
