ProductsEpstein-Barr Virus (EBV) Early Antigen IFA
Company Focus Diagnostics
Item Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) Early Antigen IFA
Features
  • Complete System: Kits include all necessary reagents: 12-well slides, FITC/or DTAF labeled conjugate, and negative and positive titered controls.
  • Enhanced Readability: Substrate slides show a crisp, bright apple green fluorescent pattern for positive specimens which are distinct against a background of red counter-stained negative cells.
  • Integrated EBNA Control: The EBNA substrate slide combines positive and negative cells at a standard ratio, eliminating the need for a separate control slide in each assay.
  • Enhanced EA Interpretation: The EBV Early Antigen Kit includes a specially formulated diluent to remove background non-specific staining.
  • Recombinant VCA IgM: The recombinant substrate eliminates the problem of interference from early antigen expression which occurs in substrate slides prepared with a human lymphocyte line.
Description Indirect immunofluorescent antibody (IFA) test for the detection and semi-quantitation of human serum IgG antibodies to the detection and semi-quantitation of human IgG antibodies to Epstein-Barr virus early antigens, both restricted (R) and diffuse (D). Each kit contains ten 12-well slides, FITC conjugate, positive and negative controls, and sample diluent.
