Features Elmed ESU 400 Digital with smart-o-matic circuit, monopolar and bipolar, with return electrode monitor (REM), compatible with dual contact patient plates, blend I & II modes. True digital readout for output power in models equipped with a digital monitor, which accurately indicates the power which will be delivered, calibrated to a 300 Ohm load, safety circuit, non-modulated current for smooth cutting and contact coagulation. Blend I mode provides cutting with limited hemostasis, but more pronounced than in the "Pure" mode. Blend II mode delivers a dampened waveform current for more dramatic hemostasis, also known as "soft" coagulation.
