Description	If the optical viewing aids should not suffice, then electronic magnification comes into its own. Almost every household has a television set today. With an electronic television reader, text, photos or images can be enlarged up to 70 times. A video camera shows a recorded picture of the reading material on the television monitor. The television reader has been especially developed for older, visually impaired people. As this particular group of people uses a viewing aid on a daily basis, the appliance is small, handy and compact. It can be connected to the AV-Input (SCART Socket) of any available television set (PAL-Norm) by means of a single cable. Reading is made a pleasure and rich in contrast by the selection of background colours. The new appliance ELG-03 is marked by improved picture playback quality and the ability to view pictures in the size 9 x 13.
