DJD II Dynamic Elbow Joint Distractor

ProductsDJD II Dynamic Elbow Joint Distractor
Company Stryker Corporation
Item DJD II Dynamic Elbow Joint Distractor
Features
  • Allows for mobilization of the elbow, which promotes a more rapid rehabilitation, making it easier for the patient to carry out daily tasks and increase his/her comfort
  • Body specifically designed to provide strength while reducing bulkiness and weight to simplify use
  • Complex anatomy of the elbow makes independent pin placement a crucial advantage in reducing the potential of neurovascular injury
  • Bbody hinge is designed to replicate the anatomical axis of rotation and allows natural mobilization of the elbow
  • Description The two principal goals of the DJD® II are to allow active or passive motion of the elbow and to protect the articular surfaces of the elbow and collateral ligaments. Motion is allowed by a hinge which is designed to replicate the elbow's axis of rotation, while an integrated distraction mechanism prevents the articular surfaces from damaging each other. The DJD® II may be used in either a unilateral or bilateral configuration. This allows a great deal of flexibility for use and indications.
