Cypher Stent

ProductsCypher Stent
Company Cordis Corporation
Item Cypher Stent
Features Remarkable Safety
  • The CYPHER Stent has proven to be safe and effective in the largest number of drug-eluting stent clinical trials involving the most patients, over the longest period of time.

  • Lasting Efficacy
  • The CYPHER Stent has shown to significantly reduce late loss and target lesion revascularization (TLR), even in the most challenging trials to date.
  • Description The CYPHER Sirolimus-eluting Coronary Stent consists of a proven antiproliferative drug, called "sirolimus", a controlled-release polymer, and a closed-cell stent delivery platform. Upon placement, sirolimus elutes into the vessel wall and impedes the process of neointimal hyperplasia, thereby significantly reducing the incidence of in-stent restenosis.
