Description The Centra-GP6R general purpose centrifuges offer high-volume versatility along with a large assortment of rotor options, making them ideal for a wide variety of laboratory applications.

Maximum Versatility

  • Four- or six-place sealed swinging bucket rotor, microplate rotor, and specialized oil tube rotors offered
  • Lare capacity (4 x 750 ml) accepts high-volume bottles or a large number of small tubes (including Universals)

User-Friendly
The counterbalanced cover makes the centrifuge easy for laboratory personnel to open and close. Quick, quiet, and compact, the Centra-GP6R minimizes intrusion upon the laboratory environment. The Aerocarrier Adapter covers are easy to install and remove for simple and effective operator safety.

Runs Safely Every Time
Thermo IEC centrifuges are outfitted with the most advanced safety features available. The Centra-GP6R is CE marked, manufactured under the ISO 9001 quality system, and meets IEC 1010-2-020 international standards for mechanical containment. An automatically locking lid will not open until the rotor slows to a safe speed. Balance and speed sensors display an alert message if imbalance or unsafe speed is detected. Sealed adapters provide excellent aerosol containment.
