Item CT Frame and Indicators
Features Self-perforating skull fixation screws with automatic adjustment do not require a preliminary drilling of the skull. The indicators for an utmost precise localization and coordinate calculation are made of acrylic glass. The chosen material enables CT images with least possible artefacts. Under elimination of radiation-geometric enlargement effects with the use of x-ray special coordinate indicators enable an exact determination of coordinates without teleradiography. The coordinates may simply be measured with a system-fit ruler or calculated with software.
Description The basic frame, consisting of one part only, is made of a high-tensile aluminum alloy. Four fixations of highly compressed Polyamide may be rotated and moved as desired, thus providing optimum adjustment to all head sizes and shapes, as well. Moreover they secure a fixation of the basic frame far enough in caudal direction, which is one of the inalienable preconditions for operative access without hindrance.
