Description The CSV- lOOOHGT instrument provides standardized glare testing. It can be used with any of the Vectorvision test faces for the evaluation of glare disability. For cataract documentation, the Halogen Glare Test is precisely calibrated to simulate two on-coming halogen car headlights as seen at night from 150 feet. The glare level can be adjusted to simulate other glare conditions, as may be warranted for testing athletes or others who complain of glare. The CSV-1OOOHGT has many advantages over other glare testing devices. The test can easily be administered from the examination chair while the patient simply looks at the instrument.
