  • Low Monomer - Cemex's unique low monomer formulation exposes the patient and medical professionals to less monomer than traditional 2:1 bone cement systems.
  • Less Heat - The amount of heat released during polymerization (setting) is directly proportional to the amount of monomer used. Cemex's reduced monomer results in less heat, minimizing the potential for thermal necrosis.
  • Less Shrinkage - During polymerization, contraction, or "shrinkage", of bone cement naturally occurs. Cemex's reduced monomer results in shrinkage that is less than traditional bone cements.
