Features The CA-1000 rapidly analyses the Petri dishes and counts the colonies. The technology used ensures reliable and reproducible results. A CCD camera positioned above the Petri dish transmits the image to a dedicated computer. The counting alogrithms enable the unit to take into account and compensate for spreading and confluent colonies. The counting platform is easily accessible which increases the working speed. Fitted as standard are all data export ports (for PC, Macintosh, Printer, Bar code reader) necessary for its harmonious integration in an automated laboratory management system. 400 plates per hour. Easy access to the counting platform. Automatic export of result data to PC, Macintosh, Printer. Storage of 8 types of Petri dish configuration and their characteristics : traditional or sprial plates, sensitivity. Counting of Spiral plates (c.f.u. / ml). Dilution factor correction. Configuration protection by password, if required (GLP).
Description The CA-1000 counts a Petri dish in 3 seconds. The counts are based on the optical characteristics of the colonies as compared to those of the agar. The CA-1000 is equipped with three types of lighting: lower lighting for colonies which are lighter or darker than the agar and upper lighting for blood or chocolate agar.
