Description Bridge™ Specimen Collections, a Cerner point-of-care solution, is a bar-code-enabled system for specimen identification and collection. The solution enhances the safety and accuracy of the specimen collections process by employing bar-code scanning technology, wireless networks and clinical information system integration to prevent potential patient identification and specimen collection errors at the bedside. The result is a standardized and streamlined workflow that increases patient and caregiver safety and produces positive business outcomes.
