Bremer Hifix Skull Pin

ProductsBremer Hifix Skull Pin
Company Depuy Spine
Item Bremer Hifix Skull Pin
Features The Hifix Skull Pin cuts a smooth, clean entrance leaving bone strong and unfractured. Cross section of cadaver skull showing strong, uncompromised bone left by Hifix skull pin.
Description The Hifix Skull Pin is the first skull pin to utilize cutting edges instead of a sharp, nail like, tip. Instead of crushing its way into bone the Hifix pin drills a neat path leaving the bone strong and viable providing improved initial fixation over standard skull pins. The Hifix pin is used in the bremer halo crown with Hifix pins and in the bremer 3D halo crown. Hifix pins are used for the same indications as standard skull pins except pediatric.
