    • Description The Bledsoe Thruster 2 OA Knee Brace uses muscle power to place a medially (Thruster 2 Medial) or laterally (Thruster 2 Lateral) directed force against the knee during terminal extension to help relieve pain for moderate to severe symptomatic lateral or medial compartment arthrosis. For mild to moderate OA, Bledsoe has engineered the Aligner OA Knee Brace. Muscle-Powered Performance Only Bledsoe offers muscle-powered OA braces that actually change their side angle and thrust force with knee motion. This allows much greater side angle thrust (up to 38 degrees) than fixed angle adjustment designs. In tests, the Thruster opened the damaged knee compartment in over 78% of patients and relieved pain in an even higher percentage. Dynamic Comfort Design The unique design of Bledsoe OA braces eliminates the rolling of the brace thats common in other brace designs during flexion. Fixed angle designs are limited to about 7-10 degrees of additional varus or valgus adjustment before they roll out of position. Greater Flex Control The Thruster 2 uses a slightly shorter upright/shell to reduce weight while allowing some flex to enhance thrust and eliminate point pressure without the need for heavier spring-loaded hinges. Industry-Exclusive Pain Relief Guarantee If the Thruster 2 does not relieve the patients OA knee pain within the first 60 days, Bledsoe will provide a full refund to the ordering facility. No one offers a stronger guaranteebecause no one else offers a better OA brace.
