Description The BIOM 3 (Binocular Indirect Ophthalmo-Microscope) incorporates the principle of indirect ophthalmoscopy in the operating microscope and enables a view of up to 130 degrees of non-contact fundus observation. Under the BIOM 3 the eye may be rotated freely so that the extreme periphery can be easily viewed. Even surgery through small pupils is possible. The SDI erects the inverted image of the BIOM 3.

Several different lenses are available for different viewing options including the standard 120 degree, a smaller 90 degree lens for easier instrument manipulation, and a high magnification macula lens.
