Description AvantGard Low Binding 20l Barrier Tips. Low binding technology that significantly reduces the amount of DNA and proteins bound to the tip. Most other filter tips are advertised as low retention, which means the focus is on liquid not adhering to the pipet tip. However, AvantGard also focuses on low binding which reduces the binding of valuable molecules such as DNA, proteins, and enzymes which may still be retained even if all the liquid is expelled. High quality polyethylene barrier that prevents pipettor contamination. Most molecules cannot pass through the membrane so the pipettor shaft is protected from carry-over contamination. Tips are certified to be free of RNAse/DNAse and human DNA/PCR inhibitors as well as endotoxins. AvantGard tips are ideal for PCR; preventing carry-over contamination and binding less DNA and Taq to the sides of the tip. Each rack employs cells to cradle each tip, ensuring more stability for easier insertion of the pipettor. Racks also feature easy to use lift off lids.
