Features Manufactured from CoCrMo using a proprietary process. Fully porous coated with a mean pore size of 145 microns. One porous coated apical screw. Three porous coated spikes for immediate stable fixation fluid tight.
Description Alfa acetabular cup system has been designed to enhance fixation in the acetabulum with a tri-spiked and cluster hole configurations. The objective of the product design is to minimize micromotion on three primary modes: Tilt, migration and rotation. The Alfa systems advanced design features result in initial and long-term fixation. The porous coating has been chosen for its mean pore size found to be proven effective in clinical trials for bone fixation.
