  • Greater strength
  • Increased biocompatibility
  • Enhanced imaging compatibility
  • Innovative implant designs
  • User friendly instrumentation
  • Description The advanced performance benefits of TiMAX™ material have been applied to a new generation of implants. DePuy ACEs Large Fragment plates and screws offer greater strength, increased biocompatibility and enhanced imaging compatibility over traditional titanium and stainless steel implants.

A unique thread design in the TiMAX bone screws provides greater resistance to pullout, while the double lead thread allows for quicker insertion. The self-tapping tip reduces the need for pre-tapping, saving valuable time in the OR.

The Large Fragment System contains broad and narrow Active Compression Plates (A.C.P.) which allow for compression, neutralization and buttress modes. Increased screw angulation and axial compression have also been built into the design.

The "T" and "L" Plates have slotted proximal screw holes for greater angulation, are pre-contoured for specific anatomical applications and are offered in longer lengths to accommodate shaft fractures.
