  • Perform all your sequencing and genotyping applications quickly, accurately, and reliably on a single instrument.
Description In 2000, Applied Biosystems introduced the completely automated, 16-capillary ABI PR I S M 3100 Genetic Analyzer. Now the innovative technology of the 3100 instrument is available in our new four-capillary ABI PRISM 3100-Avant Genetic Analyzer. Designed for low- to-medium-throughput laboratory needs, the fully automated 3100-Avant system can analyze hundreds of samples per day. Most importantly, as the scale of your research increases, you can upgrade to the 16-capillary 3100 system and quadruple your daily throughput without purchasing an additional instrument.
