  • The Portex® Per-fit™ kit is designed to permit safe and rapid percutaneous insertion of a specially designed tracheostomy tube.
  • Each kit is comprised of a double-deck tray system, separating the sterile components from the prep field, allowing the physician to prepare the patient for the procedure without exposing the sterile field.
  • A fast, safe, and cost-effective bedside tracheostomy procedure in a complete kit.
Description Each kit features a patented Per-fit™ flexible PVC tube with a tapered distal tip and a low-profile cuff specifically designed to reduce insertion force and more readily conform to the patients anatomy. The kit s unique obturator/dilator design is engineered to fit the tube snugly, allowing for an easier transition through the tissue into the trachea. Four straight dilators are sized specifically and help facilitate optimum technique and safe dilation of the stoma site. The dilational technique decreases the risk associated with surgical tracheostomy and promotes rapid healing.
