Wrinkle cure

As the saying goes - you are what you eat! Experts have now learned that other factors beyond genetics account for aging discrepancies - they may be diet and vitamin-related.

A nutrition-poor diet, in particular one lacking in vitamins A, C, E and folic acid, is detrimental to skin. One of the most important vitamins to skin is also one of the most common: C.// As one of three anti-oxidants, Vitamin C hinders the production of a chemical called arachidonic acid which can lead to the formation of wrinkles. Vitamin C can easily be added to a diet by consuming more Vitamin C-rich fruits and vegetables such as strawberries, tomatoes, and red bell peppers.

There are also foods that should be removed from one's diet in order to prevent aging. Sugar damages skin by causing collagen to cross-link, making skin stiff and inflexible. Other foods that should be avoided include red meat, potatoes, corn, peas and pastas.
