World's Smallest Fish Found In Indonesia

The tiniest ever fish has been discovered in the peat swamps of Indonesia. This belongs to the carp species, and has a transparent body and an exposed brain. A mature female fish measures only 7.9 millimeters. //

This has been confirmed by researchers belonging to countries like the UK, Indonesia, Germany, Switzerland and Singapore, and the Royal Society in London has published a report on this. This is also the world's tiniest creature with a backbone, making it the smallest vertebrate in the world.
