Wine- Toast to a Longer Life
A four-decade long study has come out in support of the adage that a little bit of wine is good for your health. Dutch researchers examined around 1500 men// who took alcohol and followed them for 40 years.
They have concluded that while drinking less than a glass of alcohol is associated with lower rates of death from cardiovascular causes and others, drinking just half a glass of wine daily is linked with the lowest rates of deaths. Wine drinkers were found to live an average of 3.8 years longer than those who drank no alcohol.
