Why Dislike For Vegetables Among Children? – Scientists Repor

UK researchers have found why children have dislike for vegetables and greens. //

Family eating habits (particularly of parents) have a major role to play in the children’s taste habits and dislike for some food.

UK’s cancer research scientists have studied 103 pairs of identical and 111 pairs of non-identical twins to find whether their taste habits are inherited or not.

Researchers gave 77 food items grouped into 4 categories including meat, fish, desserts, and vegetables and fruit to the children and found that tastes for food like meat and fish are strongly inherited in children’s.

In order to prevent some type of cancer the habit of eating more fruits and vegetables should be grown among children’s by their parents – said researchers and health professionals.
