Viagra Marketing Campaign, ‘a Cause of Concern’, Say Anti-AIDS Grop

An anti-AIDS group from Los Angeles has pressed upon Viagra manufacturers to put an end to the ‘warped’ marketing campaign that essentially// pushes the drug’s use as a recreational drug.

Viagra which is developed by Pfizer Inc.,is used avidly by gay and bisexual men who are also patronizing methamphetamine, giving a thrust to sexual behavior that is fraught with risks. The AIDS Healthcare Foundation is especially worried that this could fuel the spread of AIDS.

Pfizer Inc., has been quick to defend its marketing strategy, explaining that the campaign does not advocate the use of Viagra as a recreational drug. On the contrary, the message is clear that the drug does not offer protection against sexually transmitted diseases.

The anti-AIDS group on its part will do its best to halt the Viagra marketing campaign by running counter advertisements to give the readers an honest appraisal of Viagra.
