Interfax, Ukraine news agency reports, northern Ukraine faces the initial attack of bird flu. So a team of veterinarians were sent to destroy domestic poultry //.

In southern Ukraine, a migratory point for birds in Black Sea called Crimea peninsula, firstly diagnosed a case of avian flu in last year.

About 7200 numbers were destroyed with compensations to villagers and done so by the Ukraine's Emergencies Ministry, who called for about 77 specialists along with police to a village in Sumy region, near the border with Russia to check its spread.

Confirmation of deadly H5N1 type virus was not been done yet and need more evidence and reports in western Europe to prove its spread.

About 200,000 birds were destroyed in Crimea with no human cases found by the sanitary worker team. Thus the outbreak was now kept under control, but more works are needed in the coming future - Ukraine's health authority says.
