UK Woman To Raise Funds For Women Welfare

An UK born woman will be cycling across the Indian state of Rajasthan in an effort towards raising funds for the health of the women and children living in the state.// She will be covering 425 kilometers of desert land between 16 November and 26 November 2006. Jayne Watson who is a 36-year-old mother is reportedly undergoing training to accomplish this task.

Watson, from Guisborough in north England, hopes to raise over 2,700 pounds as a part of an initiative by the Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology Trust's Women for Women Appeal, which funds vital research.

Watson said: 'I am determined to do my best and to raise as much money as possible for this worthy charity. I will be training to get myself fit for the event'.
