UK Health Department White Paper aimed at improving Health care facilities

The United Kingdom Health Department as introduced new reforms to make the health service more patient friendly and aims at giving better treatment at an affordable // consultation and easily accessible, this minimum effective plan is aimed at concentration more at providing better services to patients. The Health Secretary Patricia Hewitt on the new reforms as said that UK health plans are to provide better fundamental health and social health care to patients at a considerably easy and near accessibility to patients.

The reform is aimed at providing more access to their General Physician at a closer place near the working place of the patient and also it increases the choice of patient towards meeting the physician at a more comfortable time of the patient which is aimed at making the physician available in the hospital for more time at the health care hospital. The new reform is aimed at reducing the annual spending on hospital infrastructure and joining of local hospitals with NHS hospitals. Health care specialties like dermatology, ENT, Orthopedics and Gynecology will be available in the local hospital making it more accessible to the patient without General physician referral.

The white paper introduced on health care is aimed at developing new mini community hospitals which provide better and immediate help to patients in diagnosis, small surgeries, out patient consultation which helps in providing faster treatment without need of long waiting hours of patients for treatment. The new reforms are planned to benefit both the physician and patient in the form of increased remuneration for the physician and is also aimed at providing better and faster treatment and consultation to patient.
