WHO has urged the governments to adopt stringent measures against industries or work places who do not comply with the health and safety measures.

They have to make sure that the workers are not exposed to carcinogens. Asbestos should be barred from using in work places. There should be a ban on the usage of tobacco. The industries which use benzene should make use of benzene free solvent. These measures can prevent thousands of unnecessary deaths due to occupational Cancer.
