The by-product of surviving child cancer - Unemployment

Washington – Dutch research into child cancer survivors has revealed that most of these survivors remain unemployed and the chances are twice as much compared// to those without a history of childhood cancer.

Among the types of cancer survivors, those that have survived brain cancer or other central nervous system tumors run a risk five times more pronounced of remaining jobless. The Children, who came out of blood-cell and bone marrow cancers, stood a far greater risk of not finding a job. Women and Americans topped the highly susceptible list for remaining unemployed after surviving cancer.

Children who had come out of other types of cancers did not have any further risk of remaining unemployed according to the researchers.
