Behind every old man that visits a doc, there is a woman; much like the association between a successful man and a woman, being the inspiration// for success.

Some Older men need to be goaded to see a doctor, that too by a woman, a new survey has revealed The woman could be a wife, daughter or even a female friend.

A News poll revealed that 78 per cent of men above 50 years visit a doctor only after being coaxed and cajoled into seeing one.

Advising men to be more upbeat about their health,chief executive Andrew Giles from the Prostate Cancer Foundation said,"It's an old line that men look after their cars more than they look after themselves, but this data has shown that actually this is true. Men just are not looking after themselves the way they should be. Really, if it wasn't for these women these men would probably never go to the doctors, and as a result they would be sicker and their death rate would go up even more."
